Aquaritus was an underwater experience in which the player would take control of a mad scientist as he tried to recover a dangerous pathogen from his prized personal aquarium. As you could imagine, a mad scientists' personal aquarium is anything but normal. Using his patented mind control technology, he can control the smaller fish in the aquarium to solve puzzles and get passed some of the dangers that the pathogen has introduced to his collection.
The layout of the level is very straightforward, often guiding the player forward. Using the lights of the skulls, the skulls help the player keep track of the progress he or she has made. Buttons, that only the fish can reach, will change the color of the skulls eyes, indicating this button has been pressed and the player can move on.
